"Family" Layout

Here is a fun, simple layout that we will be doing in the next scrapbooking class. It features an older line of paper from Kaisercraft - the Chapter One Collection. But the colors are still so trendy! I love the teals, light blues and blacks. It's a very easy line to work with.

The photo is of (L-R) me, my brother Michael, my mom Stella and my sister, Terri. It was taken at my brother's wedding. It's one of the few photos of the four of us.

Well - I hope you like the photo and the layout! ...til next time...

Sun Kissed

This layout was inspired by Angelica, using Prima's Almanac Collection. And we will be creating this LO in our next class on Saturday July 21st! I love this collection as it has soft colors and looks beautiful with the black accents.

I hope you like the layout! And if your in the Midland/Odessa area - come join us in class!

Best Wishes Card

Here is a card I made to use as one of the examples for my upcoming class on distressing. I just inked the edges of the card and torn edges of the music paper.

I am really enjoying teaching the classes. Especially the beginner classes. It's fun to see people realize how fun scrapbooking can be. I am a historian at heart and love to pass on the importance of documenting our lives to pass on to our family.

Hope you like the card!
