Valentine's Day Cards

Hello friends! I just wanted to pop in and share a couple of Valentine's Day cards I made for my sister. I used the Sweetheart Collection 6x6 paper pad by Doodlebug along with some Bazzill cardstock I had. The Sweetheart Collection has the perfect papers to make cards for boys and girls.

I used my cricut to cut out the hearts. A quick tip is to cut out several hearts of various sizes to keep on hand. As long as you have the image up and a whole 12x12 page of cardstock loaded - you might as well cut out several hearts to use later. It can be a great time saver!

Thanksgiving Day Card

This is a Thanksgiving Day card I made using Bo Bunny's Apple Cider paper, Magnolia's Tilda with Tag Gift stamp & colored it with Copics. I cut out a couple pumpkins from one of the papers and glued them over the gifts.

This is my first "official" card using the Magnolia stamps & Copic markers. I have had the markers for a couple weeks and have been practicing with them. They are so addictive aren't they! I have a lot more practicing to do but I love to color with them so that shouldn't be a problem. LOL

If you would like to purchase the paper, stamp and/or the markers, here are the links to the items in my shop:

Best Wishes Card

Here is a card I made to use as one of the examples for my upcoming class on distressing. I just inked the edges of the card and torn edges of the music paper.

I am really enjoying teaching the classes. Especially the beginner classes. It's fun to see people realize how fun scrapbooking can be. I am a historian at heart and love to pass on the importance of documenting our lives to pass on to our family.

Hope you like the card!
